Save on Shipping Costs

You can save significantly on shipping costs by ordering several bottles at one time.  In our shopping cart we can’t show your shipping costs until we have all of your order details.  So customer’s often do not realize that they can dramatically reduce their per bottle shipping cost by ordering more bottles at once.

Shipping and handling costs are the same whether you buy 1, 2 or 3 bottles. So if you buy 3 bottles at once rather than 1 bottle each time, you save nearly $19 on shipping! And if you buy 6 bottles at once rather than one at a time, you save over $44 in shipping!

Concerned About Shelf Life?

Are you concerned that if you order several bottles of ProFresh at once there could be an issue with shelf life that could make ProFresh less effective?  You can rest assured that this is not a concern.  ProFresh is a unique patented formula that is activated by the user before use.  The shelf life on ProFresh is 2 years before activation.  Thanks to ProFresh’s unique patented bottle, once activated the rinse retains its effectiveness for up to 2 years if sealed and stored at room temperature. So you never have to worry that your ProFresh rinse will expire before you are ready to use it.  In fact, you could activate all of your bottles when they arrive and then it will be easy to grab the next bottle as the current one runs out.  We recommend that you mark the lid with an “X” as a reminder that the bottle is activated.

For just a dollar a day you can be totally free of bad breath.  Check out our web site at www.profresh.com and don’t forget – the more you buy, the more you save!

5 Tips for New ProFresh Users

If you are new to ProFresh, keep these helpful tips in mind to maximize your results with the ProFresh System.  You will find all of this information in your Quick Start Guide that came with your shipment of ProFresh.

1. Double Activate the First Bottle:

We recommend double activating the first bottle of ProFresh Rinse to quickly attack the built-up bacteria on your tongue that cause bad breath.  Please note that this double-strength solution may have a stronger taste than the single-strength solution you will use ongoing.

2. Soak Removable Dentures in ProFresh:

If you wear removable dentures, soak the denture(s) overnight in ProFresh Rinse the first night you start the ProFresh program.  Thereafter, soak them in ProFresh overnight once each month.  Clean dentures daily.  Rinse thoroughly with water.

3. Brush Your Teeth with Toothpaste AFTER Using ProFresh:

Do not use toothpaste or any other oral products just before using ProFresh (allow at least 1 hour). Doing so will decrease the effectiveness of ProFresh. We recommend you brush with toothpaste after using ProFresh. Using toothpaste is an important part of your daily oral health routine.

4. Give Yourself Time to Get Used to the Tongue Scraper:

If you have never used a tongue scraper before you may experience a gag reaction if you push the scraper too far back on the first try. Start by gently scraping from the middle of your tongue to the front. As you get used to that, move the scraper a little further back each day until you can reach the back of your tongue.

5. Restore Your Confidence in Your Breath:

Scientific studies have proven that people cannot tell by themselves if their breath smells fresh or not.  A trusted friend or relative can easily confirm that ProFresh is working.  Though awkward at first, this will help build confidence in your breath – giving you more ease in personal and public interactions.

If you follow these tips and use the ProFresh System twice daily, you will be on your way to fresh breath 24 hours a day!

Common Questions About ProFresh

Stob Bad Breath with ProFresh
“A TRUE BLESSING AND MIRACLE. “ — Gail

Gail works in a dental office and had struggled with bad breath for a long time.  She had tried many products and found that nothing worked – until she ordered ProFresh:

“It seems like nothing short of a miracle… after trying soooo many products I was thoroughly convinced this embarrassing problem was stomach related.  I actually cannot tell you what prompted me to purchase yet another product….THANK GOD I DID.  A TRUE BLESSING AND MIRACLE. “  — Gail

Gail also had several questions about ProFresh, its safety and usage.  We are sharing her questions and our replies below.

Q:  Is ProFresh completely safe for long term use?

A:  Yes, ProFresh is completely safe for long term use. We have customers who have used ProFresh for over 15 years.  In addition, Kross-Link Laboratories and Hilltop Research have assessed the safety of ProFresh and determined that it is completely safe when used as directed. Instructions are to rinse with ProFresh and spit out.  Kross-Link Laboratories suggests that even if a ProFresh user ingested 10% of the recommended daily dose of ProFresh – which is very unlikely – they would still be well within safe limits of ingestion of the active compound chlorine dioxide.   Chlorine dioxide has long been used to purify drinking water supplies worldwide.

Q:  What happens if I swallow a little?  I love to use the little carry-around spray bottle of ProFresh, but when I am on the go it is not convenient to rinse and spit ProFresh out.  Is it safe to swallow?

A:  Yes ProFresh is safe to swallow when sprayed from the small bottle.  Ingesting this small amount is safe.

Q:  Does the effectiveness fade with time?  Please tell me I will not become “immune” to the active agent in ProFresh making the rinse less effective over time!

A:  ProFresh is effective for long-term use.  You will not become “immune” to its breath-freshening agent.

Q:  Your instructions recommend that new users add two “A” Activator and two “B” Activator packs to the first bottle.  This double strength bottled has worked great for me.  Will I always need those extra activators?

A: We recommend double activating the first bottle to quickly attack the built-up bacteria on your tongue that cause bad breath.  About 20% of our customers double activate all bottles for extra strength.  By having a loved one check your breath, you can determine if you need to continue with double activation.

ProFresh Not Only Prevents Bad Breath – It also Reduces Dental Plaque

stop bad breath
Not only will a ProFresh user have fresh breath but also a much healthier mouth!

Did you know that there is more you can do to prevent dental plaque than simply having your teeth cleaned regularly and brushing twice a day?  Studies show that regular tongue cleaning significantly reduces oral debris, which in turn, reduces plaque formation and accumulation on the teeth!  Dentists should be giving out tongue cleaners, in addition to that free toothbrush!

About Dental Plaque

Dental plaque is comprised of over 1,000 different bacteria that live in your mouth.  We can see it as a pale yellow film that forms on the teeth.  This film is the result of the bacteria attempting to attach themselves to the surface of your teeth.  At this stage dental plaque is easily removed, but after about 48 hours it can begin to harden.  Given 10 days or so, dental plaque can harden into tartar which is difficult to remove and linked to gum disease.

Dental plaque is commonly associated with tooth decay.  As dental plaque bacteria break down sugars in the mouth, they produce acids that destroy tissues of the teeth.  Dental plaque can also lead to gingivitis and chronic periodontitis.  Plus recent studies have linked dental plaque to heart disease.  So controlling plaque is not only about the health of your mouth, but also about the health of your most vital organ – your heart.

The ProFresh System Fights Dental Plaque

The ProFresh System provides a one-two punch to fighting dental plaque.  It provides you with a complete package of materials and instructions to achieve a new level of oral hygiene. The 2 main components of the system are the ProFresh oral rinse and the ProFresh tongue cleaner.  Using the ProFresh regimen twice a day, along with proper oral hygiene will keep your mouth healthy, significantly reduce dental plaque and leave your breath fresh 24 hours a day.  The ProFresh System significantly reduces the amount of free floating bacteria in the mouth and consequently the amount of dental plaque that builds up around the teeth and gums. Dental plaque causes dental decay and periodontal disease.

Not only will a ProFresh user have fresh breath but also a much healthier mouth!

Discovering a Chlorine Dioxide Bad Breath Cure

DrRichterInOffice
Dr. Jon L. Richter D.M.D., PH.D.
Founder of ProFresh and World Recognized Authority on Halitosis

Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is a water-soluble gas that is a highly effective and non-toxic deodorizer and anti-bacterial agent.  In 1992 Dr. Jon Richter D.M.D., PH.D., founded the first bad breath clinic in the United States. In his clinic, he discovered that almost all cases of bad breath originate from a type of bacteria that lives primarily on the back surface of the tongue. He found that cleaning the back of the tongue and rinsing with a solution containing chlorine dioxide eliminated bad breath in over 99% of the patients he treated.  His exciting early results have since been scientifically proven in clinical studies.

ProFresh – Chlorine Dioxide Oral Rinse – is Born

To bring this important breakthrough to the public at large, Dr. Richter created the ProFresh Breath Care System which features the ProFresh chlorine dioxide oral rinse.  Though it is listed as an ingredient in many mouth rinses, only one product – ProFresh – actually contains chlorine dioxide. This uniqueness is confirmed by ProFresh’s patent on the use of chlorine dioxide for neutralizing bad breath (U.S. Patent No. 5,738,840). In fact this U.S. Patent awarded to Dr. Richter for ProFresh excludes any other mouth rinse from containing a significant amount of chlorine dioxide.

Consumer Alert:  “Stabilized” Chlorine Dioxide Mouthwash

As the effectiveness of chlorine dioxide became more well-known, other bad breath products on the market began to claim the benefits of chlorine dioxide.  Consumers should be aware that “stabilized” chlorine dioxide mouthwash products often claim the benefits of chlorine dioxide without any supporting research. Chlorine dioxide and “stabilized” chlorine dioxide are far from the same!  These “stabilized” chlorine dioxide mouth rinses contain sodium chlorite which is a salt used in the manufacture of chlorine dioxide. As a chemical precursor of chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorite is also called “stabilized chlorine dioxide” although, in fact, it contains no chlorine dioxide at all!

Only ProFresh contains chlorine dioxide at levels known to stop bad breath.  The U.S. Patent for ProFresh ensures this fact.

3-1-1 is a handy way to remember the key components of the TSA regulations governing liquids, aerosols and gels in your carry-on luggage:

1 – All of your liquid, gel and aerosol products must be packed into 1 quart-sized, clear plastic, zip-top bag to limit the total volume each traveler can bring onboard

1 – One zip-top bag is permitted per passenger; the bag must be removed from your carry-on and placed in the screening bin at security

These rules ensure passenger safety as well as a faster, easier security screening. There are some exceptions.  You are permitted to bring medications, baby formula/food and breast milk in quantities exceeding 3.4 ounces.  Simply alert the officer at the security check and be prepared for additional screening of these items.
